Food in a Flash is a new App with recipes brought to you by Ireland’s number one food magazine, Easy Food.

It contains over 1,000 quick and easy, tried and tested recipes to help you solve the daily ‘what’s for dinner?’ challenge.

Please note that this App requires a 3G or WiFi connection.

Features include:

Against the Clock – only got 10/ 20 or 30 minutes to cook something? Choose your time and the app gives you recipe suggestions that can be prepared in that timeframe.

Budget ideas – meals that are high in flavour and kind on the wallet. Simply select the type of meal you’d like to make and you will be presented with a list of recipes that are purse friendly.

Healthy options – lighter and better for you … when you feel like being good. Simply select the type of meal you’d like to prepare (brunch, lunch, dinner, vegetarian or something for the kids) and you will be presented with a list of recipes with your health and wellbeing in mind.

At the shops – An unbeatable offer on lamb or tinned artichokes at the supermarket? Tap in the key ingredient you’d like to use and this clever little app finds recipes containing that ingredient.

My larder – kitchen press looking bare? Tap in the ingredients you have and the app gives you recipe suggestions to match them. The ingredients you have will be saved to ‘My Larder’, which will be cross-referenced when you create a shopping list so you don’t double up.

Take 5 – recipes using only 5 ingredients – what could be easier? Select the type of meal you’d like to make (brunch, lunch, dinner, vegetarian or something for the kids) and you will be presented with a list of recipes containing only 5 ingredients of less!

Recipe Search – Search our extensive recipe database of 1,100+ recipes to find exactly what you’re looking for. You can search by meal type (brunch, lunch, dinner, starter or desert), or you can filter by particular ingredients or simply free search under a keyword.

You can save all the recipes you like to your own recipe folder, keep a record of what’s in your larder and best of all you can create a shopping list and email it to yourself or anyone else that does the groceries in your house.
